Over 8 consolidated years’ work experiences in rural water supply, sanitation and hygiene program in the rural areas of Kenya and Rwanda. I have conducted surveys design and implementation of WASH and Construction in World Vision Kenya since 2010. I have worked as WASH project officer at the ADP, Water Engineer for KIWI- Marafa ADP, Supported Daadab Emergency response as WASH specialist, North Eastern Sub-Branch as WASH officer, Program Officer Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and Audit National office and currently acting as the Project Coordinator WASH and Construction at the National Office.

In the above roles; I have Programmed and Coordinated WASH and Construction projects implementation in the 35 program Areas. Review and validate BOQs and designs of WASH and Construction projects. Coordinate EIA/EA for WASH and Construction projects in World Vision Kenya.

Among the areas I have supported are: West Pokot District with World Vision –Marich Pass IPA (Murruny-Chepareria Community Water Project), Orwa IPA, Lokori IPA, Lodwar IPA, Marafa IPA, Dadaab Emergency Response, North Eastern Region Wajir South IPA, Laisamis IPA, Isiolo Oldonyiro IPA, Garba Tulla IPA, Golbo IPA, Mweiga IPA and Mukogodo GEL project. Lake Region: Kodero pala gravity water scheme and Mugobwa refugee camp in Rwanda.

I have vast experience in design and implementation of the following projects water pan, dam, water pipeline, hydrogeological surveys. Coordinated drilling and equipping of borehole, shallow well water projects and design and implementation of rainwater harvesting system and watershed management (with ICRAF).

Experienced in training on PHASE, PHAST, CLTS, Rain Water Harvesting and Environmental Management and protection.

Have a good knowledge on SPHERE Standards, DNH/LCP and GEG.

Practical knowledge in conducting; feasibility studies, baseline surveys, WASH need assessments and use of analytical software tools such as SPSS, EPI Info, Strata, GIS, CROPWAT, AutoCAD civil 3D and ArchiCAD.

Have excellent analytical and conceptual skills in project planning, coordination and implementation. Possesses strong leadership and management skills; with excellent knowledge of Project Cycle Management (PCM).

Have excellent teamwork skills and the ability to build good relations both internally and externally.
